Resonanz
Augsburg e.V.

Culture that opens up spaces.

We are a non-profit cultural association from Augsburg. We bring together art, culture and craft with a desire to help shape our city.

Because culture does not happen on stage alone. It happens wherever people come together, build something together and bring places to life.

Who we are

We are a self-organised association, driven by people who want to make things happen.

We work as equals, developing ideas and putting them into practice together, with plenty of passion and no commercial agenda.

Our commitment has been recognised with the ROY pop culture award.

What we do

We organise events and cultural projects where people design, build and experiment. From the first idea to the finished space, we do everything ourselves, both the craft and the creative work.

Our biggest project so far is bringing the old sports swimming pool at the Plärrer back to life. Through temporary use, we have transformed this vacant site into a space for culture, community and experimentation.

For us, this is just the beginning. In future, we would like to bring more vacant spaces to life and make a wide range of projects possible.

What we stand for

Resonanz is a place for everyone. We want people to feel welcome and safe with us, regardless of their background, gender or way of life.

We stand for an open, diverse community, respect and equality, and against every form of discrimination and exclusion. We choose solidarity over competition, share our knowledge, make our spaces as accessible as possible and work sustainably.

These values are the foundation for everything else we do.

Get involved

Want to be part of something built from ideas, hands-on work and shared values?

We welcome new faces, fresh ideas and anyone who wants to help shape things, whether you bring years of experience or simply curiosity.
